Michael Brassil wins in a tie for low net

McKenzie Golf Course in Sacramento again offered a course in great condition, and of course, great weather. Most all of our 17 amputees had a 'normie' partner for Saturday's Best-Ball event. The Lorenz team has finished first or second the last three years. Mike and David Lorenz did NOT win this time, but did garner second place. Team Lorenz TIED with team Holsinger/Holvic at 56!! Tie-breaker was low best-ball score for back nine. Team Holsinger/Holvic took the top prize for the team event, Holvic also winning the closest to the hole on hole6.

Low Net Champion was Michael Brassil of Sacramento. Michael tied with Ross Martin, also of Sacramento, at 135. Tie-breaker was lowest net score on the final round. Michael won by just one stroke.
Low Gross Champion was Danny Stevens, from Oregon, scoring 77-73, defeating Michael Smith Sr. of Stockton, California by 3 strokes.
Our amputee players were divided into two net flights for this event.  First flight winners were Ross Martin and Dennis Ithal.
Second flight winners were Chris Paulsen and Jim Thweat.
Sunday's guest flight was won by David Lorenz.

Sincere thanks to the Haggin Oaks staff, our normie guests, and Dorothy, who took over for Craig, and was our scorekeeper. Craig has recently undergone another knee surgery. See full scores below.
